Born and raised in Orlando, Florida, Rob originally moved to the Asheville area in 1995 to work with at-risk youth in a wilderness camp setting. After 4 years and meeting his future wife there, he moved on to attend the University of Tennessee in Knoxville where he received his Master of Architecture degree.
Upon returning to Asheville, Rob worked as a carpenter to hone construction skills and then began his professional experience. Over the last 15 years, Rob has had the good fortune to work on a wide range of projects. Early in his career with Daryl Rantis, he learned the importance of bringing beauty to design, from large residences to smaller, simpler housing and smarter urbanism. Later with John Legerton, he received much of his construction management experience, handling large scale remodel and new construction projects and getting the opportunity to witness the construction of the new elementary school his son would later attend. Rob came to PFA in the Spring of 2017, and continues working in all phases of Architectural design and implementation.
When not in the office, you’ll see Rob with his family, running local roads and trails, playing soccer, playing the piano, and walking the family dogs.
